Another great MKE Moms Blog event has come and gone. This past week we attended their 3rd Annual Family Egg Hunt and we had a blast!

Similar to the Cookies with Santa Event, the Egg Hunt tickets sold out within minutes (possibly even seconds) of selling out. I managed to snag my tickets in the pre-sale event through their MKE Moms Community + Connections Facebook Group. ┬áIf you’re not already a member, I strongly suggest you do so right away. They often post event tickets to the Community Group before they go live to the public.

As with most MKE Moms events, the egg hunt event was perfect for kids of all ages. It’s always a little worrisome to do an Easter egg hunt with kids Noah’s age (2) because he’s still a little too slow and distracted that he can easily get “taken down” by the bigger kids. This event was well-planned and they separated the hunts into three different age groups – 2 and under, 3-5 year olds and 5 and older. They allowed the parents to go out on the fields with the under 2 year olds, which was perfect for us.

The egg hunt included lots of colorful eggs and balloons for the kiddos. There were also candies, goodies and treats scattered throughout the soccer fields. Some of the items included R/X bars, fruit snacks, tooth brushes, stickers, pencils, coupons for some of the sponsors, etc.

Noah had a blast filling his basket with all of the eggs he could find! Then, the kiddos exchanged their eggs for a little prize bag.

After the egg hunt, they had another soccer field filled with tons of different activities for the kids. Some of our favorites were the picture painting, jumping castle, Mathnasium spin wheel and princess party.

And, of course, they had an Easter Bunny on site to take pictures with each of the kids. I was pleasantly surprised that Noah wasn’t at all scared of the Easter Bunny. I fully expected him to be too scared to actually sit on his lap.

All in all, it was another fantastic event put on by the MKE Moms Blog team. We can’t wait to attend again next year – although, I’m already a little worried about the 3-5 year old hunt with no parents. We’ll see how that goes.
