Woo-hoo, it’s finally March! We’re finally in the home stretch of the final days of winter and daylight savings is just around the corner. Fingers crossed this will be our final month of the indoor activities and we’ll be ready to head outside in April.

Family Weekend Workshop: Density Rainbows | Website
When: Saturday, March 2nd from 11AM – 4PM
Where: Discovery World
What: How do you make a rainbow without light? Learn about density, and how it can allow you to create a rainbow by stacking colored water in a container. This open lab experience is perfect for scientists of all ages!

Streets of Old Milwaukee Alive! | Website
When: Friday, March 8, 10AM – 2:00PM and Saturday, March 9, 11AM – 3:00PM
Where: Milwaukee Public Museum
What: Travel back in time with our costumed interpreters. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating people, places, and products that made Milwaukee famous!

Family Day – A St. Patrick’s Celebration in Wauwatosa | Website
When: Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 11AM – 2PM
Where: Celtic MKE 1532 N. Wauwatosa Ave., Wauwatosa, Wisconsin 53213
What: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early! Our family-friendly event has interactive activities for everyone! There’s arts and crafts for the wee ones, live music from Milwaukee’s own Irish group athas, Irish dance performances, an Irish music session (anyone can join!) and more! There will also be an appearance by our Milwaukee Irish Fest mascots Paddy and Molly McFest!
Admission/Tickets: $10 per Family


PJ Masks Live at the Riverside Theater | Website
When: Sunday, March 24th
Where: Riverside Theater
What: PJ MASKS LIVE is back with an all new super-heroic, live musical show, PJ MASKS LIVE! SAVE THE DAY, featuring the heroic trio from your favorite series: The PJ MASKS! Watch Catboy, Owlette and Gekko along with their new friend PJ Robot, as they try to save the day from the sneaky villains
Admission/Tickets: $25 – $55


Miniature Milwaukee Train Exhibit | Website | Check out my recent blog post for a full review!
When: Now through April 7th
Where: The Domes
What: Miniature Milwaukee, the garden train show at the Mitchell Park Domes, is fun for the whole family. G-scale trains crisscross hundreds of feet of track through the miniaturized landscape. The show is open daily, Jan. 19 through April 7, 2019, and is included with general admission to The Domes.
Admission/Tickets: $7 for adults, $5 for kids and under 5 is free. Bonus: the first Thursday of each month is free for MKE county residents.
