The new year is upon us and that means there are lots of fun winter activities to add to the calendar. Here are a few of my favorites for the January:
Winterfest at The Corners | Website
When: Saturday, January 12th, 9AM-5PM
Where: The Corners of Brookfield
What: The Corners is hosting The 2019 Wisconsin State Ice Carving Championship! They will have family friendly activities, promos and more!
Cranky Al’s Birthday Bash | Website
When: Tuesday, January 15th, 6AM-1PM
Where: 6901 W. North Ave.
What: Details are coming soon, but I’m sure they will be fabulous.
Admission/Tickets: Free, but buy a donut. Or, a dozen.
Miniature Milwaukee Train Show | Website
When: January 19th through April 7th
Where: The Domes
What: Miniature Milwaukee, the garden train show at the Mitchell Park Domes, is fun for the whole family. G-scale trains crisscross hundreds of feet of track through the miniaturized landscape. The show is open daily, Jan. 19 through April 7, 2019, and is included with general admission to The Domes.
Admission/Tickets: $7 for adults, $5 for kids and under 5 is free. Bonus: the first Thursday of each month is free for MKE county residents.
3rd Annual Elm Grove Winterfest | Website
When: Saturday, January 26th, 2PM-8PM
Where: Elm Grove Village Park
What: Come join us for the 3rd Annual Winterfest! There will be games and activities for everyone in the family to enjoy! Some of their events include a Candy Cane Hunt, Frosty Medallion Hunt, Fishing Derby, Sledding, Open Skating and a Candlelight Hike.
Brewers On Deck | Website
When: Sunday, January 27th,
Where: Wisconsin Center
What: Join the Brewers for their annual Winter Fan Fest at the Wisconsin Center, where you can meet some of your favorite players and coaches. They have a wide array of awesome experiences for the whole family – including meet and greets, photo opportunities, autograph sessions, kids’ clinics, interactive games and activities.
Admission/Tickets: $17 for adults, $12 for kids under 14
