Very Hungry Caterpillar Show | Website

Where: First Stage Milwaukee
What: Four timeless stories and 75 magical puppets bring Eric Carle’s iconic creatures to life. This colorful stage production faithfully adapts four of Carle’s beloved stories, The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, Mister Seahorse, The Very Lonely Firefly and of course, the star of the show – The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Rated “five smiles” by Newsday and “bedazzling” by The New York Times, experience this larger-than-life world of Carle’s charming classics.

Train Fest | Website
When: Saturday, November 11th and Sunday, November 12th
Where: State Fair Park
What: With 200,000 sq. ft. (nearly four football fields) of exhibit space featuring more than 70 highly creative scenic railroads, it’s a sight to behold. There is a constant hum of enthusiasm that travels throughout the show. The air is electric. Smiling faces are everywhere.
Admission/Tickets: $5 for kids, $15 for adults (purchase tickets in advance to save)
Daniel Tiger Toddler Time | Website
When: Friday, November 16th (10:30AM), Saturday, November 17th (8:30AM) or Sunday, November 18th (9:30AM)
Where: Sky Zone
What: Daniel’s Neighborhood Toddler Time at Sky Zone! Kids walking to age 5 can jump for 90 minutes, get their face painted, make a fun craft & get pictures with Daniel!

German Christmas Market | Website
When: November 23rd – November 25th
Where: 100 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Oconomowoc, WI 53066
What: Under a Canopy of Soft Christmas lights there’s Over 30 Unique Retail Vendors in Outdoor Huts. There’s heated tents with more vendors inside! Huge Steel Fire Pit for Gatherings. Hot drinks, German beer and authentic German cuisine and music! Stroll through all the shops downtown (don’t forget about Bangles) and then make your way over to the Village Green for the oh so popular German Christmas Market!
Admission/Tickets: Free; There is a $1 wristband fee to enter the large Wintergarten Tent (Beer, gluhwein, wine, and Live Polka) to help us cover the bands’ fees, and propane to heat the tents.
The Corners Holiday Kick-off | Website
When: Friday, October 26th, 6-9PM
Where: The Corners of Brookfield
What: Stop by The Corners of Brookfield’s Center Square for live Holiday Music all day long by the BCHS Choir, Marching Band and Orchestra, plus the theatre group will perform scenes from it’s upcoming musical “Newsies.” Shopping & dining specials at select stores and restaurants all day long including L.L.Bean, Sendik’s, Anthony Vince’ Nail Spa, Newsies Musical Front Row Ticket Raffle, 50/50 Raffle, art activities for kids with Kohl’s Color Wheels presented by the Milwaukee Art Museum and a lot of holiday fun, friends and fine arts! Don’t miss this great family event!
Admission/Tickets: Free to the public with proceeds benefiting the Brookfield Central High School Art, Band, Choir, Digital Imaging, Orchestra and Theatre departments.
